On 14 June 2024 a joint exchange with the Finnish research group around Tuula Juvonen, Varpu Alasuutari, Lotta Kähkönen and Luca Tainio will take place. They are collaboratively researching on the project “Affective Activism: Sites of Queer and Trans World-Making“ and are guests at the institute for queer theory next Friday, the 14th of June 2024.

“The project Affective Activism: Sites of Queer and Trans World-Making focuses on the ways in which queer and trans activists claim space for themselves and their world-making. Introducing an interdisciplinary approach to what we call affective activism, the project will produce original interview data and cutting-edge analysis on the affective arrangements of queer and trans activists’ actions, strategies, and visions for the future.” https://aqt-activism.fi/about-us/
