Today, it is no longer enough to view queer theory and politics as inherently anti-fascist. We must ask specific questions about how right-wing movements approach gender and sexuality—what is repressive, authoritarian, or perhaps even fascist about their approaches—but also how these movements make seductive offers, inhabit emancipatory spaces, hack libaratory discourses or imagary. How can we counter this without reacting defensively or antagonistically?

Furthermore, how can we take seriously the fact that liberal and bourgeois ways of thinking and images of nature, humanity, society, and property are themselves associated with exploitation, oppression, and violence?
