Talk and discussion on intersexuality and/in the queer community with Joris Gregor (in German language)
Often, the mentioning of the “I” in LGBT*IQ activism does not at all refer to the political demands of inter* persons, but is subsumed to a generalizing queer politics. However, while LGBT* focuses on sexuality and gender identity, inter* activism demands attention for the coercive medical manipulation of inter* bodies. How can solidarity look like that takes inter* realities seriously?
Joris A. Gregor is a postdoctoral researcher in Sociology at the Univerity of Jena.
